    DIRECTIONS

  • Heat vegetable oil in frying pan.
  • Let the oil heat up for about 1 minute. It has to be hot.
  • Slowly put in the small flour tortilla.
  • When it puffs up on then poke it down with a fork to flatten down.
  • Fry each side for 1 minute each.
  • Turn over the flour tortilla using tongs.
  • Drain the fried flour tortilla on paper towel and quickly while still hot sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. ( You can use a baking dusting wand to dust the cinnamon sugar.).
  • You can eat the bunuelo with a cup of hot coffee. Enjoy!
