Let the oil heat up for about 1 minute. It has to be hot.
Slowly put in the small flour tortilla.
When it puffs up on then poke it down with a fork to flatten down.
Fry each side for 1 minute each.
Turn over the flour tortilla using tongs.
Drain the fried flour tortilla on paper towel and quickly while still hot sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. ( You can use a baking dusting wand to dust the cinnamon sugar.).
You can eat the bunuelo with a cup of hot coffee. Enjoy!
