Costa Coffee launch new festive menu with After Eight muffin and gingerbread latte

Costa is one of the most popular coffee chains in the UK who bring out a new festive menu each year. This year, Costa have gone above and beyond to make Santa’s big day extra special with some tasty treats and festive hot drinks as well as new sandwich editions and sausage rolls, all available in Costa stores soon.

Mint chocolate fans will be happy to learn that new to the Costa menu this year is an After Eight muffin.

The delicious looking treat consists of a rich chocolate muffin filled with a peppermint sauce, topped with a dollop of white icing and an After Eight chocolate. 

Returning this year by popular demand is the Terry’s Chocolate Orange muffin which is filled with chocolate orange sauce and topped with a segment of the iconic Terry’s Chocolate orange. 

There’s also a Lotus Biscoff “cheezecake” and new Crispy Chocolate Stars which comprise of chocolate and caramel coated crispy rice stars, enrobed with white chocolate. 

Christmas favourites including vegan and gluten free Mince Tarts and Mince Pie’s will also be launching into stores nationwide.

New to the toastie range this year is a lobster toastie for those who want to feel extra fancy this Christmas season. 

The tasty sandwich is made with responsibly sourced lobster and béchamel sauce, topped with a selection of cheeses in a malted bloomer bread. 

The toastie will be included in the Costa meal deal, where customers can get their hands on a drink and a selected choice of Costa food for just £5.

A Pigs under Blankets Stonebaked Panini is also on the menu for Christmas lovers this year as well as the return of Pigs & Blankets Mac and Cheese hitting the shelves.

Prices vary between stores, so customers should head to their nearest store on November 3 to find out how much each item costs.

The coffee chain is also releasing Christmas gift sets too, including a Belgian chocolate tasting experience which costs £5.

It includes three Belgian chocolates alongside a handcrafted hot drink and includes a free Costa Coffee gift card to the value of £3.40.

For those who just want a festive drink, Costa have a whole range of new delicious drinks this year including a gingerbread latte. 

The latte includes gingerbread syrup, topped with whipped cream and a mini gingerbread man.

A cinnamon-spiced cappuccino is also new to the menu this year for £2.49 so customers can get a richly spiced hot drink.

Black Forest hot chocolate is also making a come back which consists of cherry sauce and chocolate curls.

All of these prices reflect the 15 percent VAT reduction that the coffee chain has offered to its customers. 

The whole range is available in all Costa Coffee stores from November 3 with prices starting at £1.97.
