The promotion coincides with the UK’s easing of lockdown which sees the likes of non-essential retail, hospitality and gyms reopen today, as well as allowing people to meet up outside in groups of six. It includes all barista-made hot drinks, ranging from cappuccinos to the limited-edition Toffee Spiced Latte.
Registered Costa Coffee Club users will be able to take advantage of the major discounts by scanning their Costa app at any of the participating Costa Coffee stores between Tuesday April 13 and 15.
The Costa Coffee app is available on both the Apple and Android phones, so there is still time to gain access to this deal before it begins tomorrow.
The 50p drink deal is also open to customers using the Costa Coffee app to Click & Collect, as well as those using a Costa Coffee Drive-Thru.
A spokesperson for Costa Coffee said: “We are delighted to continue our 50th birthday celebrations by bringing Costa Coffee fans this amazing offer of ANY barista-made hot drink for just 50p.
“We know it’s been a tough start to 2021 for many and we want to bring some joy to our customers this Spring, especially at a time when lockdown restrictions are easing, and we now have an opportunity to catch up with friends and family.”
All Costa Coffee stores across the UK will reopen today and those with outdoor seating will give customers the option to sit outside and enjoy their 50p drink.
The stores will be opening in accordance with the latest government guidance, meaning that protective equipment, hand sanitiser and social distancing signs will continue to be in place for staff and customers alike.
