Preheat oven to 325.
Pull out Giblets and put aside for gravy.
Rinse turkey inside and out and put the turkey into a roasting pan.
Pour melted butter over and into the turkey.
Season turkey inside and out or stuff turkey with prepared stuffing/dressing.
Cut oranges, onions, lemons, and limes into quarters and put into the roasting pan and/or the turkey cavity if not stuffed.
Add water to the bottom of the pan.
Cover the pan with a lid or make a tent out of aluminum foil (be careful to not touch the foil to the turkey. this will be removed about halfway through cooking.).
Put the pan with the turkey into the oven. (remember to remove the foil from the turkey at the halfway mark).
Unstuffed Turkey takes about 13 minutes per pound to cook An 8 lb turkey will cook take 3 hours to cook. A 20 lb turkey will take 4 1/2 hours to cook.
Stuffed Turkey takes about 15 minutes per pound to cook. The same 8 lb turkey will take 3 1/2 hours to cook. A 20 lb stuffed turkey will take 4 3/4 hours to cook.
Remove from oven and remove the stuffing/dressing.
Let the turkey rest 30 to 45 minutes.
Carve and serve.
