The Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire combines crunchy shortbread biscuit coated in golden caramel cracking chocolate, encasing layers of gooey salted caramel sauce, and velvety double swirled biscuit and pecan flavour ice cream. Magnum owner’s Unilever says this is the brand’s most luxurious ever and the unique flavour has been carefully crafted with multiple layers of decadence, providing Britons with a new way to experience moments of chocolatey indulgence.

The launch has received rave reviews and caused quite a stir on Twitter. One user said: “I discovered a new Magnum flavour called billionaire something and it’s divine.”

Another said: “Think I’m slightly addicted to magnum double caramel billionaire ice creams.”

A third wrote: “OMG, I just tried the Magnum Double Gold Billionaire and I am deceased. How is it allowed to be that good?”

One fan even took to Twitter and joked: “@MagnumUK Your Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire Ice Cream is incredibly tasty. Can you send me a big box of them? (It’s worth asking I guess).”

A Magnum representative said: “Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire is inspired by the popular sweet treat, Billionaire Shortbread. We worked with a Michelin Star Chef who, along with our Global Innovation and Development Chef Jamie Bridge, created the new Magnum ice cream flavour based on one of their favourite desserts.

“The result is our most indulgent ice cream yet – a luxurious caramel, chocolate and biscuit experience.”

The ice cream sticks can be bought for £2 as a single or a pack of three for £3.69. A tub is £4. The ice cream also comes with a newly designed carton packaging made with a minimum of 75 percent recycled fibre.
