Miami Burgers

The food safety warning issued refers to two of the Miami Burger products – which are sold in Morrisons – as the items were found to contain milk which is not listed on the packaging.

This could cause a serious health risk for anyone who has recently bought the products and has an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

The Food Standard Agency (FSA) website said: “Miami Burger is recalling the Miami Burger True Veg Burgers and Classic Miami Burgers because they may contain milk which is not mentioned on their labels.

“This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”

A statement on the FSA website reads: “If you have bought the [Miami Burger] products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not consume them.

“Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.”
