Marks and Spencer has launched the ‘Percy Pig Phizzy Pop’ that shoppers can pick up in their local store. Inspired by the favourite gummy raspberry, strawberry, cherry and grape flavoured sweet, the fizzy drink has been spotted on M&S shelves and contains no added sugar.
Already available in M&S stores, the new drink comes in a 750ml bottle and costs £2.25.
The retailer, who yesterday launched 6,000 items on Ocado, has welcomed a new range of Percy Pig delights into store within the last year including a dessert sauce, variations of Percy Pig sweets, and Percy Pig inspired recipes.
The drink consists of carbonated spring water, raspberry juice and white grape juice.
It also contains extra Percy Pig flavourings to recreate the iconic sweet taste.
The drink was first spotted on Instagram by well-known food blogger Kev’s Snack Reviews who posted an image of the drink onto his feed.
He captioned the photo: “Percy Pig Phizzy Pop now in M&S!”
Fans were quick to comment on the post and express their thoughts and feelings about another Percy Pig item.
One Percy Pig fan said: “Oooooooh now we’re talking.”

Another said: “Ooh, gonna have to give this a try. Nice one @kevssnackreviews, always showing us the goodies.”
“Omgg need this,”(sic) commented a third.
It is also suitable for vegetarians and M&S recommends serving the drink chilled.
The new soft drink comes just days after M&S announced the launch of the party-themed Percy Pigs.
These sweets feature a combination of six different flavours and colours all mixed up in one bag.
M&S also started selling Percy Pig ice cream earlier this year as well as a dessert sauce.
The ice cream has the Percy Pig flavour of raspberry and grape, with a ripple of fruity sauce throughout, packed with soft chewy strawberry marshmallow.
It’s £3 for a 453g tub and can be found in the freezer section of your local M&S store.
M&S recommends using the ice cream in a lemonade float or scooping it onto bananas and covering it in sprinkles.

Yesterday, the upmarket grocer made its entire food range available to buy from Ocado.
This was after the retailer bought a 50 percent share in the company’s retail business.
It is not known whether the fizzy drink will be available to buy online but fans are keeping their eyes peeled.
