Myleene Klass has previously talked about what her perfect Christmas looks like saying: “I just love being with my family – that’s what Christmas is all about. There will be lots of kids with us, the more the merrier.”
But what about food and drinks?
Myleene revealed her favourite part of the meal is Christmas pudding: “I can’t wait for a sliver of Christmas pudding. It’s my absolute favourite. I even eat it out of season,” she told FemaleFirst
“I won’t be cooking the Christmas dinner though. Nobody in their right mind would trust me with that,” she explained.
Myleene, who has two daughters, said she is always looking for a “magical” family Christmas time.
“On Christmas morning, there’ll be a flurry of wrapping paper in our house. I prefer gifts that are handmade so I always tell my girls to just make me a card.
“I keep each one they’ve ever given me in a memory box. These are precious times and I want to enjoy every fabulous moment.”
To have a perfect Christmas, the right choice of drinks is key and having the most delicious wines will ensure a fabulous meal with friends and family.
Villa Maria premium wines are considered one of “the very best of New Zealand” and are “perfect for enjoying with loved ones this Christmas”.
Villa Maria Chief Winemaker, Nick Picone, said they are the best option for the Christmas holidays: “We believe enjoying great wine is one of life’s joys. From the special event to the spontaneous get together, any occasion is elevated, made richer and more vibrant.
“These bold and vibrant wines are rich in heritage and are ideal to celebrate those perfect festive moments, particularly after the challenging months we’ve had.”
Nick recommended Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc 2021 or Pass Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2019 as “a wonderful accompaniment to roast turkey” and Reserve Pinot Noir 2019 to “perfectly complement duck or goose.”
But what about a different meal to enjoy during the festive time before Christmas Day?
For Britons who are looking for a different meal to enjoy before Christmas, Côte at Home has launched a French-themed feasting menu.
The experience boxes are designed to make the most of this year’s Christmas moments.
They can be enjoyed while decorating the house, putting the tree up or any time during the festivities.
The experience box can be delivered to your door whenever you feel like having a magical and Christmassy time at home.
One of Côte’s delivery boxes includes a delicious menu with four starts with salmon rillettes and baguette, followed by Côte’s signature rich beef bourgignon served with a creamy mash and minted peas.
The feast is topped off with a decadent pile of profiteroles.
Côte’s sommelier proposes warming Negronis as your aperitif, with a light Fleurie and a festive Cremant to accompany your meal.
Inside the Box, diners will find a specially produced Côte at Home guide to the most fashionable tree ‘looks’ for 2021, as well as a step-by-step manual to no-nonsense tree decorating and some chocolate tree decorations, the perfect finishing touch to any tree design.
