I mean, who hasn’t craved a frozen pastry that’s also a pepperoni pizza or a ham and cheese at 1:00 in the morning, the time when all of our best food decisions are made?
Well, if you’ve ever wanted to add a dessert course to your fine dining experience, it’s your time to shine. According to food-spotting Instagram account extraordinaire @CandyHunting, Hot Pockets is rolling out a line of “Sweet treats,” turning the calzone style of its main course predecessors into something closer to a puff pastry.

New Hot Pockets Sweet Treats are out now in Cinnamon Roll and Apple Cinnamon varieties! @theimpulsivebuy reported they are in stores now at Hy-Vee. It looks like they're also out at County Market and Karns Foods.

So far, it looks like the available flavors are Cinnamon Roll, which features a “sweet cream cheese filling in a cinnamon crust,” as well as apple cinnamon, which features the eponymous filling within a cinnamon crust.
@CandyHunting spotted these at Hy-Vee, a midwestern bastion of all things quality eats, among other retailers. Each box comes in a four count, meaning the whole family can enjoy a truly wholesome dessert that will be very cold in the middle if you don’t microwave it for long enough.
So if the Hot Pocket format appeals to you but you aren’t a fan of savory eats, these sweet treats are your golden ticket. Additionally, the Apple Cinnamon flavor may be the closest thing there is to a McDonald’s apple pie that you can make from the comforts of your own microwave. Do with that information what you will.
