1 tablespoonolive oil
5 hot Italian sausages, casings removed
2 garlic cloves
2 cupsBaby Spinach
1⁄2 lbdry penne pasta
2 cups grated cheese mix parmesan cheese, Swiss, Fontina
1⁄2 teaspoonsalt and pepper (to taste)
1⁄4 cupparmesan cheese, cheeses shredded (to top)
1 teaspoonred pepper flakes (to top)
1 glassred wine (optional)
Get that salted water started to boil for the pasta.
Finley mince Garlic.
Cut Baby Spinach into small shreds.
Remove Hot Italian Sausage from its casings.
Make your Cheese mixture and set aside.
In a heavy skillet brown Sausage in Olive Oil.
Remove Sausage once cooked and set aside.
In the same skillet (do not drain) add Garlic over medium/low heat saute for 2 min (do not burn).
Add chopped Spinach over low heat cook for 5 min.
Cooke Penne in salted water (al dente).
Add Sausage back into skillet with Garlic and Spinach over medium / low heat add Milk and Cheese mix and Penne cook until completely creamy and incorporated.
Serve with shredded Parmesan and Red Pepper flakes on the top.
