Staub Just Launched Cookware in Turmeric

If you’re into fall — like really into fall — you will be very excited to learn about Staub’s newest color. The cookware company just teamed up with our friends at Food52 to launch a whole new collection of enameled cast iron in … wait for it … Turmeric!

To us, it looks like someone finally figured out how to paint a Dutch oven with a pumpkin spice latte. And we are obsessed! This new color is the epitome of fall, and while we certainly don’t expect anyone to run out and buy a new Staub just because of the color (they’re not exactly cheap!), we do think it’ll push you over the edge if you’ve been considering getting one or adding to your collection (this color will complement any of the existing colors from the brand). It’ll also inspire you to pull out those cozy sweaters and start looking up stew recipes.

The color launched today and is exclusively available at Food52 for the next six months. What’s included in the Turmeric collection? We’re so glad you asked! Here’s the lineup.

While the spice turmeric has certainly gotten on more and more peoples’ radars these last few years, it’s been around for thousands of years, and has a deep-rooted cultural history and is extremely popular in the world of wellness (read more: Taking Back Turmeric: Sana Javeri Kadri on What We Don’t Understand About the Wellness Movement’s Favorite Spice). Trendy or not, we love this rich hue whether it’s in a jar or on a piece of cast iron cookware.
