Tesco, Morrisons and M&S release their Halloween range – with prices starting at £1

Supermarkets have shared their Halloween food range including food and sweet treats. With trick or treating out of the window, grocery stores are all launching family feasts that can be tucked into at home. With prices starting at just £1, Halloween lovers can still celebrate the day with these treats. What is included in the supermarket ranges?

With food boxes proving to be very popular throughout the pandemic, Morrisons has launched a Halloween food box that can be delivered straight to your front door. 

The Halloween Box includes themed treats as well as a cupcake kit to be enjoyed at home. 

It is available for pre-order right now on their website with an estimated dispatch date of October 24 to October 30. 

Morrisons Spooky Halloween Box costs £23 including delivery.

The supermarket also has a Bonfire Night box available for £17 which includes hot chocolate, marshmallows and everything to make the perfect hot dog. 

Aidan Buckley, Food to Order Director at Morrisons said: “We know this year is like no other for customers and many may feel Halloween and Bonfire night are off the cards. These boxes provide a stress-free way to still enjoy a little magic at this time of year.”

Marks & Spencer’s Halloween food range includes starters, mains and a whole host of puddings.

Store bakeries have M&S’ famous Yumnuts for sale which cost just £1.35 and are coated in orange and white icing with spooky edible eyes.

The popular Colin the Caterpillar has also had a revamp for Halloween with Frankencolin the Caterpillar costing £10 along with the Mini Frankencolins costing £2.25 for a five pack.

M&S said: “Colin’s gone creepy! No celebration would be complete without Colin the Caterpillar, and this year you can invite Frankencolin along! Choose our full-size version, a chocolate sponge roll smothered in chocolate and decorated with nuts and bolts, or Mini Frankencolins, with tasty (and super scary) chocolate faces!”

These will be in-store from October 14 as well as their hot food range launching on October 26.

Customers can find Halloween Burgers, Toffee Apple Bangers, Eerie Eyeball Margarita Pizza, Devilishly Hot Pizza and Dracula’s Blood Fruity Drink in their local M&S stores this month.

The range, which is available in a three for £10 deal includes something for everyone with vegan popcorn chicken also on the menu this year.

A vegan popping candy jelly pudding is also on offer for just £4.50.

M&S said: “This EPIC vegan-friendly centrepiece is set to become the ultimate family favourite this Halloween. The apple flavoured jelly is shaped into a gruesome brain, with a raspberry drizzle and popping candy sprinkle. Pour the candy over before serving for an hour of spooky family fun.”

This year, Tesco has released a novelty pumpkin which come in different colours and textures to offer customers something different.

They have a goosebump texture and are available in red, white, grey and blue. They will be released into stores from October 14.

Their Halloween Cupcakes can be picked up for just £1.50 and include chocolate sponge cakes topped with green icing and covered with Halloween themed decorations.

The supermarket giant has also released chocolate covered apples in three different varieties this year.

The Milk Chocolate Rocky Road, Milk Chocolate with Multicolour Chocolate Fun Ships and White Chocolate with Multicolour Fun Chips are all available in store now and cost just 75p.
