If you love Costco and aren't following the @Costco_doesitagain Instagram account, you need to ASAP. This account highlights all the new and exciting finds coming to local Costco stores and one of their latest posts has us ready for summer days at the lake! Select locations are now carrying Austin Eastciders Hard Cider.
Austin Eastciders Hard Cider comes in a variety of fun and funky flavors and Costco is selling variety packs of their Original, Blood Orange, Rosé and Watermelon flavors. Not only are these ciders going to be a new standby summer drink, they also are lower in calories and sugar than many of the other poolside beverages out there.

The ciders range between 140-160 calories per can and tout just 9g of added sugars. These ciders stack up pretty well to a can of beer or glass of wine—at 148 and 125 calories, respectively. We aren't sure how much Austin Eastciders retail for at Costco just yet, but the Texas-based supermarket chain H.E.B. sells a 12-count variety pack for $16.97.
While only a few Costcos currently carry it, if you're dying to try Austin Eastciders, you can hunt down your closest retail location on their website. And we will keep you updated on any plans to expand to other cities. Be on the lookout at your local store, and stock up on everyone's favorite Costco vodka pops in the meantime.
