Heinz, drunk with power, will not be stopped. Last week, it was Kranch—an unnecessary bottled mixture of ketchup and ranch.
This week, it’s [Seriously] Good Cadbury Creme Egg Mayo—which is exactly what it sounds like, minus the “seriously good” part.
Fortunately, this condiment from hell has been contained in the U.K. It will only be available for three days at a London brewery and, thank God, will not be unleashed on the rest of the world.
“We have had so much fun creating this unique Creme Egg mayo for Easter with our friends over at Cadbury — we absolutely cannot wait for people to try it,” said Martina Davis, brand manager of Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise.
We weren’t able to try the mashup ourselves, so take it from the editors at Mashable: This stuff is nasty.
“I muster up the courage to dip two chips into the mayo. I chew and pause for a moment while I try and figure out what the hell I’ve just put in my mouth. I can no longer taste chips,” Mashable writer Rachel Thompson wrote. “All I can taste is the too-sweet-for-most-humans concoction that is currently assaulting my taste buds. “Nope,” I say to my colleagues. “Tastes like a cream cake.” That might have been too kind, though.”
If you’ll be in England next week—specifically Thursday, April 11 through Saturday, April 13—and you want to try [Seriously] Good Cadbury Creme Egg Mayo (for some reason), head to Truman Brewery in East London.
