There’s something about celebrities taking part in silly viral internet challenges that makes them so much more relatable. When Cameron Diaz successfully completed the wine challenge in her first TikTok, we loved her even more than before, and it looks like she inspired Dakota and Elle Fanning to do the same.
Cameron’s first TikTok featured her and her best friend Katherine Power doing the wine challenge with their new line of Avaline wine. At the end of the video, it said “#WineChallenge Who’s up next?” Looks like Dakota and Elle took that as their cue, because the pair completed the challenge and Dakota posted the video on her Instagram.
In the video, Elle sits in the front with the base of the wine glass in her mouth to lean it at an angle for Dakota, who is sitting behind her, to drink it. When Dakota is able to finish the glass of wine, the two sisters cheer. They’re so excited in the video that it makes me think it took a couple of takes to get it just right.
Although there are no signs as to what type of wine was in the glass, Dakota tagged Elle and Cameron Diaz in the caption, so there’s a good chance it was a bottle of Avaline wine.
They got praise from some friends in the comments section as well with Ashley Benson calling it “Genius” and Uzo Aduba cheering them on with a “For. The. Win. 🙌🏿❤️🙌🏿.” Looks like I’m gonna have to try out this challenge now! I’ll be on the lookout for some Avaline to do it with.
