Keith Young was a 9/11 firefighter, bringing aid and relief to many on that fateful day—which unfortunately cost him his life. Young died of cancer, leaving three children. The Young siblings appeared on the latest episode of ABC’s Shark Tank Sunday night to share yet another part of Young’s impressive legacy—a genius kitchen invention.
Young was a passionate home cook and cookbook author alongside his firefighting and dad duties, and he invented this Cup Board Pro cutting board to help save prep and clean up time in the kitchen. This cutting board is made by the manufacturer Epicurean, out of an environmentally-friendly material called Richlite, and attached to the edge of the board is a collapsible silicone cup that is made to hold anything that would normally fall or be scraped off: diced veggies or food scraps. It will even collect juices while you're carving up a turkey or chicken (or slicing some especially juicy tomatoes)

A producer from Shark Tank initially reached out to the eldest Young child, Kaley, about her father’s invention, and the sibling trio was soon headed to California to pitch his idea. The Youngs made a deal with all five sharks, and the Cup Board Pro is now available exclusively at Williams-Sonoma. You can view the Young’s pitch, here.
Not only is the Cup Board Pro a time-saver, but it's also a space-saver, perfect for small kitchens! Be sure to snag the Cup Board Pro at Williams Sonoma for $59.95 before it sells out!
