Anne has impressed with her weight loss since she joined The Chase. Known as the Governess, Anne strikes fear into the heart of players on The Chase.

However, she won hearts across the nation when she appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The show puts celebs through a gruelling ordeal, living in an encampment in Australia.

Stars have to win food and are otherwise on a meagre diet, so many contestants lose weight on the programme.

Anne was no exception when she took part in 2015.

Anne lost a stone during the experiment, no small change.

While crash dieting is not healthy, Anne did aim to keep the weight off after the event.

However, she explained she is healthy and so isn’t desperate to slim down.

She told Jeremy Vine in 2019: “The thing is my health is fine.

“Before I went into the jungle I had to have a load of tests and they all came back saying, ‘Your blood sugar is perfectly normal, your blood pressure is, if anything lower than perhaps it might be.

‘We’ve spent an hour staring at scans of your heart, you don’t have any clogged-up arteries’.

Mark Labetts weight loss success has impressed any fans, and he recently posted even more pictures of himself looking slim.

Mark has lost 10 stone in total.

“Small things, but important things.

“I was 29 stone in my last year as a full time teacher in 2003, and I was on the verge of getting high blood pressure pills, I’ve been mainly at about 25 or 26 up until probably just before the lockdown, and then a few things happened quite nicely and came together and the weight’s just fallen off.

“I’m on a high protein diet with the good people at Muscle Food so eating an awful lot of lean meat and much as I love chips and other carbs, I am having quite a bit less than I used to.

“I’m not feeling that hungry so you eat less so you lose weight so you’re not as hungry.

“I’m not a drinker but sugar has always been my downfall.

“A good friend of mine who had the gastric band said it won’t do any good for me as I get all my calories by sugar, and it’s too easy to digest.

“I still have sugar but an awful lot less, I should have less still.”
