“There are no specific exercises to help you lose weight, however when devising an action plan, it is important to consider movement patterns that not only work in line with your genetics, but that you enjoy,” he said.
If hoping to flatten the abs, using resistance training exercises can help burn belly fat.
“For a busy mum looking to tone up and blast unwanted belly fat, their genetic output may indicate they have an increased response to power training,” Tim told Express.co.uk.
“In this scenario, although other factors would of course come into play, a bi-weekly full body, high volume resistance training plan would likely work well.”
