Weight loss: One woman shed a whopping eight stone by changing diet plan

When trying to lose weight, a healthy diet plan and regular exercise are important. One woman has shared her weight loss transformation journey and revealed she lost more than eight stone.

Rebecca, from Essex, noticed the weight slowly pile on over the years.

While she had been overweight for most of her adult life, the dieter tried out different plans and her weight would fluctuate.

After her third child was born, Rebecca reached her heaviest weight.

Tipping the scales at 19st 3lb, she decided it was time to change her lifestyle and get healthier.

What diet plan did she use?

When trying to slim down, the dieter would follow plans by WW, formerly Weight Watchers.

Rebecca said: “I have been overweight all of my teen and adult life and my WW journey started about 20 years ago.

“I have done WW a few times and always lost weight so it was always my ‘go-to’ diet.

“After having my first child, I gained about three stone.

“I joined again a few years later and lost about four stone.

“I stopped going to WW and still managed to keep the weight down until I had my two other children 14 months apart.

“I got up to 19st 3lb which was the largest I had ever been. So when my youngest was one, in January 2018, I went back to my old group and started my WW journey again.”

Rebecca followed the Flex plan, which gives those using the diet more freedom as they tuck into healthy and tasty recipes tailored to them.

By doing this, the mother-of-three noticed the pounds start to fall off.

She added: “The plan had changed to Flex and it worked really well for me.

“I had consistent losses each week and I was slowly chipping away at all the weight I had gained.

“The first goal I had set myself was to lose four stone for our summer holiday as I wanted to be able to do more with the children and met that goal plus a little extra.

“This is where I would normally give up and go back to old habits but something felt different this time. I went back to the group the following week and carried on chipping away.”

By following the plan, Rebecca managed to slim down by a staggering 8st 4lb and slim to a healthy 10st 12lb.
