My mother is from New Orleans and we grew up eating every kind of seafood.Since moving to North Louisiana she misses fried fish terribly. So blackening and searing seemed to be the best way to compensate for fresh fish.
Ingredients
- Tilapia filets
- Blackening seasoning:
- Onion powder
- Paprika
- Italian blend seasoning
- Parsley

When the pan is hot enough to sear, put the filet seasoning side down, cook for about 2mins, edges will whiten
