Butter scones


  1. 210 g cake flour
  2. 80 g butter
  3. pinch salt
  4. 2 tbsp sugar
  5. 2 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  7. 50 ml whole milk


  1. Mix all dry ingredients. Then add cold butter and use pastry cutter to blend butter in flour until observe sand-like mixture.

  2. Add milk and mix the dough gently.

  3. Knead the dough until well combined but do not over mixed.

  4. Roll the dough to 3/4 inch thick, use cookie cutter 2 inch diameter to cut the dough (make sure do not turn your cookie cutter)

  5. Take scraped dough and mix it with cocoa powder for the pug face decoration.

  6. Bake at 190C for 15 minute
