Easy Grilled Chicken

Another easy recipe and so easy to cook. I don’t usually use an exact measurement for the ingredients I use, as cliche as it sounds I am measuring with my heart lol! So trial and error is the way to go but in my opinion you’ll hardly go wrong with this. For this recipe I uses abit more ingredients other than Italian herbs for abit more flavor but really all you really need is the Mixed Italian Herbs by McCormick for that wonderful flavor, anything else is just extra. As for the vegetables I steamed it in the microwave, it’s so quick and easy and it retain all the goodness of the veges as opposed to boiling it in water where you loses all the nutrition, it tastes better too.

Ingredients

  1. Chicken Seasoning
  2. Chicken Breast
  3. Olive Oil
  4. Mixed Dried Italian Herbs (I uses McCormick's brand)
  5. Paprika Powder
  6. Garlic Powder
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper
  9. Vegetables
  10. Vegetables of your choice
  11. Salt
  12. Pepper
  13. Water

Steps

  1. Tenderize the chicken breast, alternatively cut the chicken breast in half horizontally to make it even thickness throughout the whole piece.

  2. Rub olive oil on both side, then sprinkle the seasoning on both side of the meat, leave for at least 15 mins for the flavor to work into the meat for that slight but not overpowering marination.

  3. Cut your veges and put into a large bowl, fill about 1/3 of the bowl with water and cover the top loosely with another a plate, microwave on high for 2 mins, take it out, stir it and pop it back in for another 2 minutes. Pour away remaining water in the bowl when done, sprinkle pepper and salt and it’s ready to serve.

  4. Next, grilled chicken over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes on both side, depending on the thickness of your chicken.
