Eggless Honey Cake

  1. 3/4 cup Curd
  2. 1 cup + 2 table spoons Sugar
  3. 3/4 cup Oil
  4. 1 table spoon Vanilla Essence / Extract
  5. 2 cup All Purpose Flour
  6. 1/4 table spoon Baking Soda
  7. 1 table spoon Baking Powder
  8. 1/4 cup + 1 table spoon Honey
  9. 1/2 cup Strawberry Jam


  1. First of all, take a bowl and add 1/4 cup curd, 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup oil and 1 table spoon vanilla essence and whisk it well. Take a sieve and put it on the top of the mixture and add 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1/4 table spoon baking soda and 1 table spoon baking powder, sieve it and mix all things together and make a batter. You can use 2-3 milk if required or the if the batter is too tight.

  2. Transfer the batter into a tray and bake this cake in 180 degree C for 40 minutes. After baking the cake make holes on the top of the cake and keep aside to cool down completely.

  3. Take a pan and add 2 table spoons of sugar and around 2-3 table spoons of water into it. Boil this water until the sugar dissolves and turn off the flame. After 1 minute add 1/4 cup honey into it and mix it well. Pour that mixture to the cake and spread it.

  4. Again take a pan and add 1/2 cup of strawberry jam and 1 table spoon honey and cook for 2 minutes. Pour that mixure on the top of cake and spread it evenly. Cut the cake and decorate with desiccated coconut and enjoy!
