Hash brown quiche


  1. 3 cups frozen, loose pack, shredded hash browns, thawed
  2. 1/3 cup butter, melted
  3. 1 cup chopped cooked ham
  4. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 1/2 cup milk
  8. 1/2 tsp salt
  9. 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper


  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Press hash browns between paoer towels to remove excess moisture. Press hash browns into bottom and up sides of 9 inch pie plate; drizzle with butter. Bake 25 minutes.

  2. In medium bowl, combine ham, cheddar and bell pepper; mix well. Spoon mixture into crust. In small bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper; mix well. Pour over ham mixture. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
