Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

My kids love chicken wings and they particularly love honey bbq flavour. I used to buy the frozen wings but found out that making myself is not that hard and i guess it is healthier too 🙂

  1. 20 pcs mid joint chicken wings
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1/2 tsp sugar
  5. 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  6. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  7. Cooking spray
  8. Honey BBQ sauce
  9. 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  10. 1/4 cup honey
  11. 2 tbs/28 gr butter
  12. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  13. 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  1. Wash, dry, and season the wings with the salt, garlic, pepper, sugar, and paprika. I marinate the chicken overnight.

  2. Preheat the oven to 190celcius. Spray the wings with some cooking oil. Place the wings in a single layer on the cookie sheet, and place in the oven.
Cook for 35-40 minutes, depending on the size of the wings, turning once

  3. Meanwhile, mix all ingredients to make BBQ honey sauce, simmer over low heat

  4. When the wings are done baking, carefully dip them in the sauce, and place them back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes each side, or until the sauce is bubbling.

  5. Ready to serve 🙂
