Leftover Cooked Rice to Instant Healthy dosa with nattusakkarai


  1. 1 cup – Cooked brown/White rice
  2. 1 cup- Wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cup- Rice flour
  4. 4-5 tbsps Sathumaavu powder (i used homemade powder)
  5. 1 tsp Cumin
  6. 1 tsp peppercorns
  7. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  8. salt as required


  1. Grind it all items in the mixer and make into dosa batter consistency by adding little water or coconut water. add salt as required.

  2. Make dosa with gingelly oil or ghee and serve hot with Nattusakkarai or Kaara Chutney.
