Low country boil


  1. 2 large cajun sausages, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
  2. 8-10 small red potatoes, unpeeled
  3. 1 tbsp. old bay seasoning
  4. 6 quarts water
  5. 2-3 pounds shelled, deveined uncooked medium shrimp
  6. 6-8 ears fresh corn, halved
  7. 1/8 tsp salt


  1. In large pot, combine sausages, potatoes and bay seasoning with enough water to cover; bring to a boil over medium heat. When potatoes are almost tender, add shrimp. When shrimp turn pink, add corn. Cover and cook until tender.
