Ingredients
- Paneer/Cottage Cheese
- Green-peas
- Red Onion
- Tomatos
- Curd/Heavy whipped creme/Milk skim
- Dry Red chilly (Kashmiri)
- Coriander seeds
- Ginger-Garlic paste or crushed
- Watermelon seeds (Magajtari Seeds)
Steps
Step-1 Take one Tbsp. Coriander Seeds, 2-3 Red chilly (Kashmiri), one Tsp. watermelon seeds and roast on fry pan; Keep it aside and let it cool down and grind it.
Step-2 Take one-two Tbsp. oil on pan;Keep it on Flame; Add chopped Red Onion (one piece) and saute it till it becomes soft; Now add Chopped Tomatoes (one Piece); add salt as per the quantity. once it become soft let it cool down for sometime and then grind it.
Step-3 Take 3-4 Tbsp. oil add crushed onion- tomato that you made it once oil becomes hot; Add all crushed powder of coriander seeds,red chilly and watermelon seeds + add 1 tsp. turmeric powder, 1 tsp. red chilly powder if needed. Let this mixture cook in slow -medium flame for 10 minutes for good taste.
Step-4 Now the gravy is ready, You can add one bowl of curd/fresh milk skim/heavy whipped creme in it. Stir it well so that it can mix with all ingredients.
Step-5 Now add one small bowl of boiled green peas. (It is important to have boiled green peas even if you are using fresh green peas.)
Step-6 Add Paneer Pieces (150 gm) at the end or just before you switching off your flame.
Step-7 Garnish with fresh cilantro on top of it.
