Pecan Pie Shine


  1. INGREDIENTS 1 cup water 1 cup sugar 1 cp chopped candied pecans
  2. 6 cups Moonshine


  1. In a saucepan combine the water, sugar, and chopped candied pecans

  2. Bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar and remove from heat.

  3. Let sit and cool. About 20 minutes.

  4. In 3 pint-sized mason jars, divide the simple syrup and top with Moonshine.

  5. Shake Moonshine and let it sit daily for 4 days.

  6. Strain out the pecans and transfer to a clean jar.

  7. The longer the Moonshine sits the better it becomes.

  8. Make sure to strain Moonshine through a fine mesh strainer, to catch all of the pieces of pecans.
