Rice cooker shrimp jambalaya


  1. 1 can beef broth
  2. 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped fine
  3. 1 stick butter, melted
  4. 1 (8 oz) can tom sauce
  5. 1 med onion, chopped fine
  6. 1 med bell pepper, chopped fine
  7. 1 pound shrimp, peeled
  8. 2 1/2 cups raw rice


  1. Wash raw rice and drain. Place all ingredients in rice cooker with drained rice. Do not add any water. Add salt and red pepper to taste. Put rice cooker on cook cycle. After cook cycle is completed, keep on warm cycle for at least 1/2 hour. Stir and Serve. Also can use crab meat, crawfish, sausage, chicken, or use your imagination.
