Samai upma (Little millet upma)

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup samai (Little millet)
  2. 2 1/2 cup water
  3. 1 carrot finely chopped
  4. 6-7 beans finely chopped
  5. 2 tbsp peas
  6. 1 tbsp oil
  7. Mustard seeds to temper
  8. leaves Few curry
  9. 3 red chilly

Steps

  1. Wash samai and keep it aside.

  2. Heat a pressure cooker with oil. Temper with mustard seeds. Add onion, curry leaves, red chillies and sauté until onion becomes soft.

  3. Add veggies and sauté for a minute. Add salt and water. Add samai and cook it for 3 whistles.
