Slow cooker honey garlic chicken with pasta

Ingredients

  1. for the chicken
  2. 3-4 pounds frozen chicken tenders
  3. 1 cup soy sauce
  4. 1 1/2 cups honey
  5. 3 cups water
  6. 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  7. 3 tablespoons minced onion
  8. 2 tablespoons onion powder
  9. 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  10. 2 teaspoons salt
  11. 2 teaspoons pepper
  12. 3 teaspoons ground ginger
  13. for the pasta
  14. 4 cups water
  15. 2 cups desired pasta
  16. 3 tablespoons salt
  17. 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  18. 2 tablespoons onion powder
  19. 2 tablespoons ground ginger
  20. for the sauce
  21. 3 cups leftover slow cooker drippings
  22. 1/2 cup flour
  23. 2 tablespoons honey
  24. 1 tablespoon say sauce
  25. 1/4 cup pasta water

Steps

  1. Thaw chicken tenders in the fridge overnight, then place in slow cooker with all other ingredients under the chicken section. Stir together, then cover and set on low for anywhere between 5 and 7 hours.

  2. To cook the pasta, wait until the chicken is almost done and set the seasoned water up to boil. once it has, pour in the pasta and cook until desired tenderness.

  3. Once the pasta is finished, drain the water into a separate bowl and let cool.

  4. To get the sauce, mix together the ingredients in a sauce pan and cook until thickened.

  5. To serve, place a bed of pasta on the plate, then top with chicken and cover with sauce. ENJOY!
