Spanish omelette for weekend breakfast

You can cook it fast by preheating the onions and potatoes in a microwave!


  1. 1/4 onion
  2. 1 potato (small size)
  3. To taste salt & pepper
  4. 1 tea spoon consomme powder
  5. 100 cc milk
  6. 3 eggs
  7. ☆1 tea spoon starch
  8. ☆2 tea spoon water
  9. 10 g butter
  10. 2 teas spoons olive oil
  11. 2 cherry tomatoes
  12. some cheese


  1. Slice the onion and cut the potato. Soak the potatoes in the water for few minutes.

  2. Place the onions and potatoes in a heat resistant bowl and heat in a microwave (3 minutes/600 w).

  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry onions and potatoes after preheating in the microwave. Cut cherry tomatoes into small pieces and add in the pan.

  4. Add consomme powder into milk. Add this into the pan and bring to boil.

  5. Mix 2 teaspoons of water with 1 teaspoon of starch. Stop the fire and and add in the pan. Mix well.

  6. Beat the eggs and mix with everything in the pan.

  7. Clean the pan with kitchen towel. Heat the olive oil and pour 6 in the pan again. Add cheese on top.

  8. Cook both sides and finish! (Use a plate when you turn the egg upside down. Be careful not to break it!) Enjoy!
