Spicy Taco Dip

When I first suggested this to my wife she replied “ you want to feed me dip… for dinner…?” -Afterwards she requested this twice a week for a month.

Ingredients

  1. 1 can jalepeno refried beans
  2. 1-2 jalepenos
  3. 3 avocados
  4. 1 (8 oz) package of sour cream
  5. 1 McKormicks Hot taco seasoning packets
  6. 1 tomato
  7. 1/3 bundle green onions
  8. 1 (2.25 oz) can sliced black olives
  9. 1 (16 oz) pack shredded Mexican blend cheese
  10. 3 tbspn cilantro

Steps

  1. Spread beans (you may use less than the whole 16oz can to taste) along glass baking pan

  2. Devein and dice ? Jalapenos, spread evenly atop beans -TIP: Smaller Jalapeños are generally hotter, while larger are more mild.

  3. Mash avocados ? spread evenly in pan

  4. Mix hot taco seasoning into sour cream, spread evenly

  5. Chop green onions and tomatoes ?, add both to pan along with half of the olives. Be careful not to add excess tomato juice.

  6. Spread shredded cheese

  7. Pluck whole cilantro leaves, spread to taste along with remainder of olives.
