Spring rolls

this is a tasty Chinese dish and is a lovely snack.


  1. 20 spring roll wrappers
  2. 500 g mince meat
  3. 1 cabbage
  4. 7 carrots
  5. 2 onions
  6. 2 handful green peas
  7. 1 red pepper
  8. 1 green pepper
  9. 1 yellow pepper
  10. to taste salt and spices
  11. vegetable oil
  12. curry
  13. thyme
  14. water


  1. Wash and slice the carrots, onions, cabbage and green pepper in separate plates and set aside. the green peas should also be washed.

  2. Boil your minced meat with 1 seasoned cube, curry and thyme. set it aside.

  3. Boil the cabbage till it is soft. Then add the carrots and green peas. cook until the carrots is soft and then drain the water.

  4. Heat up some vegetable oil on medium heat. Fry the meat. add curry, thyme and red dry pepper and mix properly. add the cabbage, carrots, green peas and peppers. stir fry it and set aside.

  5. Mix some three spoons of flour with hot water in a cup and stir properly with a spoon until it dissolves.

  6. Spread the spring roll wrapper on a flat surface and fill it with the filling, fold it together and seal the edge with the liquid flour.

  7. Do these for the remaining spring roll.

  8. Fry the spring rolls in deep oil until it is brown and crusty. serve with sweet chilli sauce.
