- 1-9 inch deep dish frozen pie crust
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 stick margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Leave frozen pie crust out on countertop to thaw for 10-15 minutes…..
In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch, then stir in milk…..
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, keep stirring until mixture becomes thick….
Next, remove mixture from heat and add margarine, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg, stir well….
Pour mixture into the thawed pie crust…
Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 30 minutes…..
Serve chilled and enjoy ?!
