Taro do pyaja

It’s very nutritious TARO called ARBI


  1. 2 cups washed and deep fried sliced TARO OR ARBI
  2. 2 big sliced onions
  3. 2-3 green chilli sliced
  4. Ginger garlic sliced estimated
  5. 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  6. 1 tablespoon salt
  7. 1 tablespoon turmeric
  8. 1 tablespoon vegetable masala
  9. Half tablespoon red chilli powder
  10. 1 third black pepper powder
  11. 1 tablespoon coriander powder


  1. First wash and peel of the taro.then deep fry it

  2. Now in another pan put some oil and add cumin seeds

  3. Roast them then add sliced onions+green Chilli+ginger+garlic

  4. Make them brown

  5. Now add all the spices quickly and at very low flame stirring onions for 6 to 7 minutes

  6. Now add deep fried taro and stir it for only 6 to 7 minutes to mix all the spices nicely

  7. Yummy and nutritious TARO is ready
