Whole wheat pancakes

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  2. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1/2 cup canola oil
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 3 tablespoons peanut or regular butter
  8. Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or walnuts or blueberries
  9. 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Steps

  1. Melt butter, mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes until cooked throughout. Serves 3-4.
