Cruising star Jane McDonald, who will be hosting tonight\u2019s British Soap Awards, has wowed fans with an incredible weight loss transformation.<\/p>\n
She revealed that she managed to drop three dress sizes taking part in ITV\u2019s Sugar Free Farm, a TV show which sees celebrities take on a sugar-free diet.<\/p>\n
In a conversation with The Mirror in 2016, Jane admitted she was a little sceptical about taking part in the show, and even rather \u201coffended\u201d to have been asked –\u00a0“My first thought was, \u2018Well it\u2019s just a fat farm, why do they think I need to lose weight? I\u2019m a size 12\/14, I didn\u2019t think I was that bad\u201d.<\/p>\n
But when she was told it was more about cutting out sugar than dieting, and that they wanted an \u201caverage\u201d type of woman with a \u201cbusy life and not much routine when it came to eating properly\u201d, she was all in.<\/p>\n
Jane revealed that cutting out alcohol, cakes, biscuits, convenience food – plus her favourite, red wine – was absolutely transformative.<\/p>\n

She shared that after the two-week process, she could fit into a pair of size eight jeans, meaning she dropped a dramatic three dress sizes.<\/p>\n
It also gave her a \u201cnew lease on life\u201d, with the cruise star describing the show as \u201cthe best thing [she\u2019s] ever done\u201d.<\/p>\n
Jane took the lessons she learnt from Sugar Free Farm and applied them to her own life, swapping the junk for whole, nutritious foods.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The star revealed that she used to eat a lot of ready-made microwave meals, which she had no idea were often laden with sugar.<\/p>\n But she decided to ditch this for fresh ingredients such as \u201clean meat and chopped veg in boxes of Tupperware, peppers, spinach, things like that\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking on Lorraine in the same year, Jane explained that she not only \u201clooks different\u201d but has \u201ca lot more energy\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n She stated: \u201cI feel fantastic, and that\u2019s just by cutting out sugar from my diet.\u201d<\/p>\n But it\u2019s not just adopting a healthy diet that keeps Jane in top shape, with the star also sharing that she took up dancing.\u00a0<\/p>\n Speaking about preparing for her tour Making Memories, she shared that her performance would include dancing – \u201cwell I say dancing, a lot of people wouldn\u2019t call it dancing – moving\u201d.<\/p>\n Her two \u201cphenomenal\u201d young dancers Sarah and Gina made her \u201cup [her] game a little\u201d.<\/p>\n
