Even during the cost-of-living crisis, it seems Brits have not lowered their expectations \u2013 with 86 percent wanting to be treated to a fancy drink when they are invited to a dinnertime soiree.<\/p>\n
And the poll of 2,000 adults found that, not only do they love drinking cocktails, but also making them \u2013 as the average adult has two cocktails recipes in their repertoire.<\/p>\n
But it seems Mojitos and Espresso Martinis are a thing of the past \u2013 as the nation’s favourite cocktail is now the punchy Margarita.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, two-thirds of Marg-lovers have found themselves in a position where they are preparing the Mexican speciality, only to realise they have run out of one crucial ingredient \u2013 limes.<\/p>\n
Thankfully, help is on hand for those planning to throw a cocktail party this weekend \u2013 as a free lime delivery service has been launched to save your dinner party from such an emergency.<\/p>\n
Margarita fans who know what\u2019s good for them will be able to call Hot Lime helpline to receive a fresh fruit delivery in a lime emergency vehicle in London, Glasgow, and Manchester, on July 21 and 22.<\/p>\n
