<\/p>\nBiscuit brand OREO has created its most unexpected combo yet \u2013 by pairing the iconic cookie with fried chicken. To capitalise on a growing social media trend that\u2019s seen cookie lovers dipping it in custard or ice cream, or wrapping them in bacon, a new collaboration has been realised.<\/p>\n
The popular biscuit has partnered with Chicken Shop, to give away freebies to thousands of customers in September.<\/p>\n
They include The O Fries \u2013 sweet and salty fries made with a seasoning combining salt, pepper, and garlic with crushed OREO crumb.<\/p>\n
Or those with bold tastes can try The Big Twist Burger, a classic fried chicken burger layered with nacho cheese, smoky chipotle mayo, and an exclusive Mexican-inspired mole sauce made with a cookie crumb, in a burnt chocolate charcoal bun \u2013 so it even resembles a giant cookie.<\/p>\n
Traditionalists can also enjoy a Twist & Shake \u2013 a milkshake made with OREO crumb, combining crushed cookie pieces with Chicken Shop\u2019s iconic chocolate sauce.<\/p>\n
Katya Savelieva, from the cookie brand, said: \u201cWe have absolutely loved seeing all the weird, wonderful, and unexpected ways that our fans have been twisting up how they eat their cookies, so felt inspired to come up with an unexpected twist of our own.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know it’s a little crazy, but we promise this collaboration menu will surprise you \u2013 so don’t miss your chance to try it for yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

The limited edition #OREOtwist meal will be available from Friday 1st September to Sunday 3rd September, from 11am to 12.30pm, at all six Chicken Shop restaurants \u2013 on Baker Street, in Islington, Notting Hill Gate, Putney, Soho, and Camden.<\/p>\n
Each day, 150 meals will be up for grabs for free at every location, on a first come first served basis.<\/p>\n
Katie McNeilage, from Chicken Shop, added: \u201cOur expert food team love to create mind-blowing flavours, and they\u2019ve invented a shockingly good, limited-edition menu using our delicious fried chicken and much-loved OREOs.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re so proud of how good it tastes \u2013 it really works, and we can\u2019t wait for fried chicken lovers to enjoy our delicious fried chicken in a completely new and surprising way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Customers can claim one meal a day, while stocks last, and will be given a ticket number to exchange for their #OREOtwist meal, consisting of 1x burger, 1x fries, and 1x shake per customer (shakes not available at Soho).<\/p>\n
