The chocolate giant is the second largest confectionery brand in the world after Mars, best known for its signature Dairy Milk bar.<\/p>\n
Along with Creme Eggs and the iconic Roses selection box, Cadbury\u2019s manufactures other more unique products in its range, including the Dairy Milk 30 percent Less Sugar bar.<\/p>\n
That is until the company made the \u201csad\u201d decision to axe the product just four years after it launched.<\/p>\n
Cadbury confirmed that fans of the light chocolate treat will have to find an alternative now the item has been pulled from supermarket shelves.<\/p>\n
On the chocolatier\u2019s website, the reduced sugar bar is described as: \u201cJust as irresistibly smooth and creamy as the original Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, but with 30 percent less sugar\u201d.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n The move was made in recent weeks but some fans noticed it disappearing from shelves as early as May this year.<\/p>\n And while many people will miss it for the guilt-free taste, some Britons rely on the bar as a safer sweet treat compared to other chocolate products.<\/p>\n One Cadbury lover took to Twitter to say: \u201cHi @\u200cSainsburysI\u2019m diabetic and have been enjoying Cadbury\u2019s Dairy Milk 30 percent less sugar, but I have noticed recently that it has not been on your shelves, are you no longer stocking it?\u201d<\/p>\n Another disappointed chocolate fan also reached out to supermarkets to locate the 30 percent less sugar bar.<\/p>\n The Twitter user named @\u200cscullypaul wrote:\u201c@Tesco can you explain why you are continually removing low sugar and no sugar products from your stores, i.e no sugar skinny cookies, reduced sugar Cadbury chocolate and more?\u201d<\/p>\n Cadbury\u2019s decision to axe the product marks the end of its reduced sugar range, which relied solely on the 30-percent less sugar bar. However, the chocolate giant reassured customers that replacements are in the pipeline.<\/p>\n A spokesperson told\u00a0Express.co.uk: \u201cWe understand that some consumers will be disappointed by this news, but they can rest assured that we will continue to invest and innovate and bring more well-being choices to our consumers.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have recently launched Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruiter and Nuttier \u2013 an innovative new line which is lower in sugar and saturated fat and higher in fibre and protein than an individual serving of Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut Chocolate and Cadbury Delights \u2013 a delicious new range of confectionary under 100 calories per bar.\u201d<\/p>\n Other treats below 100 calories include:<\/strong><\/p>\n
