Autumn has now arrived which means many people will be looking to cook up some hearty recipes to warm themselves up after a cold day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
There is nothing better than sinking your teeth into a juicy steak sandwich, and this simple yet delicious dish can be made with whatever sauces, toppings, or bread you prefer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, British cooking legend Gordon Ramsay has shared he has perfected the steak sandwich and has shared how to make his incredible sauces which pair perfectly with a tender sliced-up steak.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He first shared the recipe in a video on social media where it has exploded with millions of views, but the Michelin-star chef revealed the best way to make a steak sandwich on his website as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In Gordon\u2019s video comment section, people that have tried out this flavourful sandwich have said it is easy to make. One person wrote: \u201cI made this for my lunch and now it\u2019s all I want to eat\u201d while another user commented: \u201cI made this at 2am after seeing the video and it\u2019s the best thing I\u2019ve eaten this week.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Place a large amount of salt and pepper on a chopping board and roll your steak fillet in the seasoning mixture.\u00a0<\/p>\n Take a large oven-proof frying pan and heat up some oil. Then fry the steak fillet for around one to two minutes on each side until it begins to brown. Add butter, garlic, and thyme sprigs to the pan and spoon it onto the meat as a base for flavor.\u00a0<\/p>\n Next, place the steak fillet in the oven for around 15 to 17 minutes until the meat is rare or medium rare. Once cooked, remove from the oven, cover in foil, and let it rest for 15 minutes. While it is resting, occasionally top it with the juices from the plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n Now it is time to make the tomato relish. Once again heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, and add in the onions and chilies. Fry for around five minutes until softened. Stir in the tomatoes and cook for around six to eight minutes. Add vinegar and keep stirring over medium heat for around six minutes. Once removed from the heat, add some basil and season it well with salt and pepper.\u00a0<\/p>\n In order to make the mustard sauce, simply combine both mustard and the mayonnaise, and then season.\u00a0<\/p>\n Then make the toasted ciabatta, drizzle the bread in oil and seasoning. Heat a griddle pan until it is smoking hot and then griddle the bread for around one or two minutes until they are golden on both sides.\u00a0<\/p>\n Now it is time to serve and assemble your beautiful cooked steak sandwich.
