Aldi is recalling their Ready Set Cook Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry for all use-by dates up to and including October 22 because it contains wheat (gluten) which is not listed on the product\u2019s packaging.<\/p>\n

This means the product may pose a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and\/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.<\/p>\n

Affected customers are advised not to eat the product and instead return it to their nearest store where they will be issued a full refund.<\/p>\n

Aldi\u2019s product recall notice reads: \u201cAs a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling this product because it is incorrectly labelled and contains Wheat (Gluten).<\/p>\n

\u201cCustomers are asked to return this product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given. We apologise that this product did not meet our normal high standards and thank you for your co-operation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) have issued an allergy alert and Aldi\u00a0has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their members about the product recall.<\/p>\n

When there is a problem with a food product meaning it should not be sold, it might be ‘withdrawn’ – taken off the shelves – or ‘recalled’ – when customers are asked to return the product.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a busy October for Aldi which has seen them open three new stores in Slough, Coventry, and Askern respectively.<\/p>\n

This comes after a \u00a31.4bn, two-year investment pledge to open a number of new sites was announced in September.<\/p>\n
